2026 HAPS General Membership Meeting
Things were called to order for the HAPS Annual General Membership Meeting and here are some highlights!

Happy birthday HAPS! Thank you Margaret Weck for sharing memories and many years with us!

Finances are looking great! Let’s keep things sustainable!

Our Executive Director Caitlin Hyatt is stepping down, but Britney Wimberly is stepping up as Business Manager! Caitlin we love you and will miss you!

Following the meeting, Poster Session 3 was held showcasing many innovative and exciting topics!




Day 2’s Update Seminar V was unique – it included panel-style discussions surrounding guiding ourselves and future faculty through their first year as an A&P instructor. Drs. Ron Gerrits, Jonathan Wisco, Dee Silverthorne, and Kevin Patton were led through the discussion by Tom Lehman.

HAPSters ventured out on the town to find delicious food for lunch!

The afternoon began with Update Seminar VI speaker Dr. Alan Detton discussing the true meaning of the anatomical term fascia and its significance in A&P!

The last (but certainly not least) poster session, Poster Session 4, was held in the Exhibit Hall again showcasing just how amazing our members are!



The last Update Seminar was a discussion-based opportunity for members to interact and discuss with the HAPS Regional Directors, Kathy Burleson, Anya Goldina, Juanita Jellyman, and Soma Mukhopadhyay.

The official HAPS Annual Conference concluded with Door Prizes and a Closing Reception!
