Update Seminars, Poster Sessions, Exhibitors… Oh My!
The first full day of the Annual started off the annual First- and Second-Timer’s Breakfast:

The presentations began with a warm welcome from current President of HAPS, Rachel Hopp!

The conference then welcomed Dr. Jim Davis as our Update Seminar I Speaker! Dr. Jim Davis spoke on the importance of emphasizing variation as a teaching tool rather than a normative value:

Poster Session 1 then commenced featuring many wonderful and insightful posters!




The HAPS Fundraising Committee held a silent auction for all attendees to bid on some really cool items!

The HAPS Annual Conference welcomed Update Seminar II and Dr. Amy Desaulniers who emphasized developmental origins of male infertility using a translational swine model:

HAPS hosted a Cafecito lunch at Burnt Ends BBQ!

Following lunch, Update Seminar III took place featuring Dr. Brian Couch who spoke about formative assessment experiences amongst students amidst the evolving learning tools:

Our first full day of the conference then welcomed our Update Seminar IV speaker, Dr. Timothy Cox, who shared incredible research on dietary effects on genetic craniofacial malformations!

Wrapping up the official HAPS Conference day, was a cocktail hour with Exhibitors!
