Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee supports our membership by providing professional development opportunities for HAPS members related to equitable and inclusive teaching of anatomy and physiology, creating and sharing resources for evidence-based best practices in teaching of anatomy and physiology, and cultivating a sense of belonging for diverse members of HAPS by advocating for and ensuring inclusive practices within the organization and at HAPS events.

The Human Anatomy and Physiology Society is a diverse community of educators dedicated to inclusive excellence in the classroom. As a community, we commit to creating spaces of belonging and accessibility for all members by embracing diversity and promoting equity and inclusion.
