Anatomy Donor Stewardship Support Team
The HAPS Anatomical Donor Stewardship Committee (ADS), previously known as the Cadaver Use Committee, is committed to helping HAPS members learn best practices for dissection, gross anatomy lab design, gross anatomy education, and human body donor stewardship. In order to better facilitate the advancement of gross anatomy instructors and labs, our committee has developed the ADS Support Team, which is a network of HAPS members who are experts in different gross anatomy specialties (e.g., dissection, lab design). These experts can then be connected with HAPS members who want to learn more about the different specialties. To learn more about this new program, the ADS recorded a recent overview and training session which can be accessed below.

HAPS ADS Coaching Travel Award-click for more information
The Awards and Scholarships (A&S) committee and Anatomical Donor Stewardship (ADS) committee are collaborating on this award. This funding would allow for either ADS Support Team participants to visit others’ labs or help with funding to attend ADS sponsored dissection workshops (excluding those that may take place at HAPS conferences where Travel Awards are offered). The A&S would review and award travel awards to support ADS’s dissection coaching program. Apply here.
