Call for Anatomy Exam Program Lead

HAPS is looking for a new HAPS Anatomy Exam Lead to begin Exam Lead-in-Training January 2026. There is a two year training apprenticeship (with the current HAPS Exam Program leads) followed by one or more three-year terms as Anatomy Exam Program Lead. This is an appointed position by the HAPS Board, with input from the current Exam Program Leads.
There are three (3) Exam Program Leads that oversee specific duties of the HAPS Exam Program (1. A&P Exam Program Lead, 2. Anatomy Exam Program Lead, and 3. Physiology Exam Program Lead). In the future, we will be sending out a call for the Physiology Exam Program Lead (one year from now) and Anatomy & Physiology Exam Program Lead (two years from now).
Exam Program Leads have 3-year renewable appointments, approved by the Board of Director, with no term limits. These are staggered appointments to ensure continuity and smooth transitions with new leads. If this volunteer activity is of interest, please apply using the online form available at this link. You will be asked to upload a PDF copy of your CV and to provide written descriptions explaining how you meet the selection criteria outlined below.
We are hoping to have the Anatomy Exam Program Lead-In-Training in place by January 2026. Please submit your application by November 1st. Applications will be reviewed and the candidate will be selected and in place by January 2026.
If you have questions or would like more information, please contact info@hapsconnect.org.

- Experience authoring an undergraduate A&P, anatomy, or physiology textbook, lab guide, electronic multimedia education software or hardware, question banks, study guides, etc.
- Teaching experience at multiple levels (e.g., high school, undergraduate, professional, medical, dental) and/or different populations of students.
