The HAPS Foundation was established to create a mechanism by which donors could make tax-deductible contributions to projects that support professional development programs for A&P teachers and that enhance the quality of human A&P instruction.
Here’s just one of many reasons: Your support of the foundation will help fund a deserving graduate student to attend and present at the HAPS Annual Convention.
The Foundation also provides money for other scholarships and awards to our members:
- Sam Drogo Technology in the Classroom Award
- HAPS-Thieme Teaching Excellence Award
- Gail Jenkins Teaching and Mentoring Award
- Robert Anthony Scholarship
- Contingent Faculty Scholarship
- Faculty Grant Award
- Student Grant Award
- HAPS-I Scholarship
- Graduate Student/Postdoctoral Travel Award
How much of a donation is needed?
We recognize that educators don’t earn Wall Street salaries! Whatever level of support you can provide is sincerely appreciated. We know that if all our members can donate at some level each year, together we will grow the Foundation and empower it to support the HAPS mission- to promote excellence in the teaching of human anatomy and physiology. Please make a donation today on our website.
