Proposals for 45-minute workshops are now being accepted for the Central Regional meeting in Minneapolis, October 17-18.  Just fill out this online proposal form.

This is for the Friday afternoon panel discussion - College / High School Dual Enrollment Programs and Human Anatomy and Physiology: The University of Minnesota’s College in the Schools Model Dual or concurrent enrollment partnerships (CEPs), like College in the Schools (CIS), partner with high schools and teachers to provide students with an opportunity to take college courses on their high school campus during their regularly scheduled day. When students successfully complete a college course, they receive transcripted college credit and it's recognized by the high school. Concurrent enrollment programs support teachers as well, with ongoing, collegial, discipline-specific professional development. In Minnesota, programs like CIS become nationally accredited by The National Alliance for Concurrent Enrollment Partnership (NACEP) to ensure quality courses and teaching, and accreditation allows high schools access to state funding.
