|Conference Poster Information and Instructions|
One of the authors must be registered for the meeting to
present a poster or a workshop. Poster and workshop abstracts whose authors
have not registered at the time the conference booklet goes to publication will
be dropped from the program and will not have their abstracts published in the
Step 1: Get ready.
Make sure you read through the various material on the HAPS 2014 conference website to ensure you know how to submit your poster presentation abstract.
Step 2: Prepare your abstract for submission.
Please note the following formatting instructions. Abstracts that do not conform to this format will not be accepted. Prepare your abstract submission in a Word file. Your abstract submission must include the full title, author names, affiliation(s) and abstract text and conform to the word limit. Do not submit tables and figures with your abstract submission. Do not use headings such as "Methods” or "Conclusions” in your submission.
Presenter Information: Presenter 1 is the name of the individual whose name appears first on the abstract and who will be presenting (or co-presenting) the poster. You will be required to include the institution, city, state/province, zip/postal code, country and email address for presenter 1 – this is the email to which confirmation and notification of acceptance will be sent.
Also identify the name, affiliation and mailing address of any additional presenters.
Abstract Submission: Prepare your abstract in a Word document following the Poster Style Guideline Specifications. Make sure you have proofread your submission for spelling and grammatical errors.
Step 3: Submit your abstract.
After you have reviewed and proofread your abstract, click on the live link on the HAPS 2014 conference website to complete the Poster Presentation Abstract Submission form.
Deadline for submission is Tuesday, February 4, 2014.
